Bekkie and Christina go to Girls Camp

They had so much fun. Lots of eating, hiking up and down the mountain, laughing, playing, laughing, worms falling from the sky, laughing again-is how they described their time. Bekkie said it was a very nice camp and then grossed everybody out with tales of worms raining down from the trees above.

Bekkie wants you to remember Girls Camp in Oklahoma. Compared to that it was wonderful. What's a few worms, in Oklahoma there were scorpions everywhere especially the bathrooms. In Oklahoma there were tarantulas everywhere, ticks raining down from the trees, cotton mouth snakes and worse in the water, mosquitoes big enough to carry off a baby and chiggers. So while many were complaining about a few worms Bekkie thought it was great. She said the campsite was totally shaded and beautiful. She says it was cool even though in Ogden at the same time we had 90-100 degree weather. She says in Oklahoma the campsites were in the sun which didn't matter because at 100 degrees with 100 percent humidity it was just as hot in the shade as the sun.

Christina says here favorite part was doing the OOGA BOOGA. We did some crazy stuff for OOGA BOOGA like jumped up and down, sat on a wet cooler and bowed to queen. We did some snipe hunting-I knew they weren't real so I was just waiting for the screams. We went on a hike that was downhill because we took the chairlift up the mountain first. The chairlift was really, really pretty. We could see all the way to a mountain city with a lake by it. We found a fuzzy caterpillar that was black and orange. We played a fun game with water balloons that you had to catch in towels. I got a very pretty necklace to wear on Sunday and box with stars carved into it. I had so much fun I really want to go next year.
