Thanks to the whole family that came together and worked so hard this past week. Many of you spent hours making this dream come true for Sherri and Nathan. Your mom is very pleased with you. Thank you for sharing your talents! The pictures can't show it all, but here are some cute pictures of the nursery and the nursery closet. We are excited for Sherri and Nathan to come home tonight and see all that we have done!!!

Fireworks at Sunset Days
We met Grandma and Grandpa Joos and other extended family members at the park in Sunset City. We ate a picnic and looked around the booths. The grandchildren played ball then they all got light sabers and it was a blast. The fireworks were the best we have seen, but it got kind of scary when the wind blew a couple fireworks right on top of the crowd. The fireworks had to be stopped and moved. We waited for the rest of the show and it was worth the wait. There were a couple new fireworks that were like hundreds of fireworks in one firework. Each spark would burst into its own small firework. Wow.

At the Aquarium with Amber and Brandon
Time at the cabin
We have been gone most of this month. We tried to get to the cabin on Sunday July 6th but it was seriously raining. We went to visit Grandma Vilda instead. We had a good visit and we stayed in Motel 6 which is cheap and also allows dogs. A good place to stay if you want to visit Grandma Vilda. We drove to the cabin on Monday and we had a great time with Bekkie, Trevor, Gavin, Christina, Sabre, James and Grandma (Me). We first had a good look around. The Lake was very full, the frogs were big and numerous and we found some sweet mares and their colts at the lower lake. Grandma cleaned the cabin top to bottow for two days. The boys spent their time at the lake catching everything and the girls were down with the horses the whole time we were at the cabins. It is a wonderful time. Katie and Josh joined us on Friday and Carrie came for a visit on Saturday night. Sunday Bekkie, Katie, Josh and James went home, but we stayed for a few more days.
If you are planning a trip to the cabin there are a few things you should know. We talked to Amerigas and found out the gauge on the propane tank is a pressure gauge. We have no way of knowing how much gas we have left, but we are prepared to switch over to smaller tanks when it runs out. If the gas runs out while you are there you will need to go to Amerigas(1-435-586-6731 call for directions) and get the connection and install a small propane tank. Hopefully we won't need to worry about it for a bit. The propane regulator is new and the system seems to be fine. Most lights are fine to turn on but the one above the sink in the kitchen and the one in the bathroom are both broken so use other lights in those two places. Let us know if you have trouble. One small propane gas tank will easily be enough for a few days-even using the oven.
The water key is in the hot water heater closet. As Grandma Vilda has said many times turn it counterclockwise ONE FOURTH OF A TURN. you will hear the water. It leaks, as they all do. I hope that when we are up there the end of September that your dad and I can fix it. Gary fixed the one leaky faucet early this year. Thanks Gary. The water and water heater work fine. If you need to turn on the water heater please follow the directions that are on the water heater. It is very easy if you use those long lighters.
There is plenty of towels in the bathroom. There is one change of beddingfor each bed in the cupboard in the bedroom and sleeping bags in the loft. I have more linen clean and ready if you want to get it from me before you go up.
If you need to make a phone call there is a spot that cell phone work just about 10-15 feet into Deer Haven Campground at that intersection as you turn to head down to the cabin. Just pull straight in instead of turning. I have noticed cars just sitting there and wondered what was going on.
We have some wonderful family that is up there. I hope you get a chance to see them. We saw a lot of Ty (Mac's oldest son) and Danny (another son) and their families this time. Natalie (Ty's daughter) spends lots of time up there in the old cabin on Mac's land. We have some neighbors that are not family. Please be respectful and kind to all neighbors.
Please feel free to use the cabin. Let me know if you need a key. Please remember your keys-I keep forgetting mine. I have many copies of cabin keys and I can't remember mine. Let me know when you are going up there. Tyler and Katie are going August 7 for a few days. Carrie and her family are going over Labor Day holiday.

4th of July
Chantelle, James, Kirby, Christina and Mom picked up Sabre at the airport in the morning. We headed to Park City. We went shopping on Main Street in Park City. We saw some big dogs at the pet supply store there. Kirby attracted attention everywhere we went. She is really so tiny and she was well behaved. Then we went to the Outlet Mall. James and Sabre bought shoes at the Van store. Mom bought shirts at Dress Barn. Chantelle found a shirt at American Eagle.
After a day of shopping we went to Amber's house in Kamas. The weather was perfect. (It was much cooler than Ogden.) We met Shaylin and Mikey there and Brandon grilled some good hamburgers and hot dogs. Amber finished off the meal with veggies & dip and smores for dessert. After a good meal there we drove to a mountain and hiked up to the top. There was a wonderful view of Park City, the Canyons, the Cove, and Deer Valley. We saw a very red sunset while we waited for the fireworks to begin. We saw fireworks all around the mountain. We were so high we looked down on the fireworks. It was certainly much different. We had a great time. Thanks Amber and Brandon.

I started writing family when I first left home 36 years ago. Throughout the years as I lived so far from family and friends I began doing newsletters various ways. Since my children are all comfortable using the computer and Internet I am changing the way I communicate. If you need help finding my blog try ronnowfamilytimes.blogspot.com or give Amber a call. (She helped me set it up) If you want to get your newsletter in the mail please let me know. Thank you, Jennifer
