Willard Bay

Christina, Trevor, Gavin and Grandma went camping at Willard Bay. We had the best time. We got site 22 and there wasn't anybody else around. The first thing, the children ran to the water and the water was rolling with catfish in the shallows. The boys knew not to catch them because catfish have barbs on them, but they chased them deeper into the bay. They hunted everything and Trevor, the snake hunter, got a snake right off. Gavin found many kinds of pretty dragonflies. Christina swam like a fish with the fish all day long. We put the tent up together. Gavin was a very good tent stake driver. We had the tent up in no time. The boys liked to change clothes in the tent even though there were nice bathrooms near our campsite. We stayed by the water until dusk when we headed for the campsite. We cooked our own hot dogs and had watermelon. We did s'mores for dessert. When it got dark we had a nice sleep in the tent. We had tons of food and room for all and we missed you all. Lets do this again next year the week before school starts on Thursday. Put it on your calendars and do it. It really is a wonderful, relaxing time for all!
